Hagerstown, MD (MD) – On the first day of spring, the Hagerty’s outlets will be closing their doors.
“It’s going to be a bittersweet day for us, because we have our store here,” said Jennifer Taylor, the owner of the Hagers.
Her outlet has been in operation since January of this year.
As Hagertown’s outlets close, the company will begin leasing space at its outlets to local businesses.
Hagerstown residents can expect to see the stores closing in a matter of weeks, with the final announcement to be made on Friday.
The last Hagerstrom outlet was opened on April 8, 2018, and will remain open until December 2019.
A small group of Hagersters will remain at the Hogs, with plans to open up another location in the future.
“We’re going to take advantage of the new, modern Hagerys and hopefully do a lot more business here,” Taylor said.
In the meantime, the local Hagerts will be open for regular hours.
On the third Thursday of each month, the first Hagerster will open, with a special Hager’s Breakfast every Tuesday and Saturday.
